Position: Assembly Technician Job Type: Full Time Shift: 1st Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Pay: $15.00 Location: Elk Grove Village
Responsibility: - Reads and understand schematics and parts lists for building signs - Assembles and non-soldered cable assemblies - Assists in the pulling of kits for all assemblies - Assists in the packing of all assemblies - Test of sign and non-soldered cable - Assists in the software testing of all assemblies - Operates hand, power, and crimp tools - Locates build drawings and parts lists - Properly fills out build documentation - Reads and interprets prints for all assemblies - Reads and accurately applies parts lists to relevant assemblies - Build: DD signs, OL signs, L0 signs, Eric++ Controllers, Non-solder Cable assemblies - Visually inspect all assemblies - Ensure work areas are clean Requirement: - Must send resume. - A minimum of one year of production experience required - Capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and parts lists - Knowledge of basic hand tools - Computer literate preferably with Microsoft Excel and Word - Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds - Must have excellent hand-eye coordination - Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components
